Worked here and its a great place to work - Top staff and Top product. I can vouch the product also as i have it on my house as cladding and also front porch outside floor!! Front porch takes some battering but still looks like new 3 years on ... It is very grippy when wet so ideal for high traffic area.. looks the part - if you want comments as well as quality I advise spending the extra and getting this product, nothing like it on the market... Quality made in England!
BEWARE - I bought 42 boards of Golden Oak and 7 of them were from a different batch which we didn’t notice until they were unload and put in place, the difference was very noticeable. We had to go back to the builders merchant and check their stock for the right batch numbers to replace them. We hadn’t been made aware there could be a difference in colour or batch numbers. We contacted Millboard to explain the colour difference but their Customer Service was very unhelpful and rude ! Even though we had proved the 7 boards were different colour and batch number. We have had photos emailed to Millboard by the builders merchant to help us to have the 7 boards credited back to our account but they will only agree to 4 ?? Terrible company to deal with !!
Product looks great, reasonably easy to work with however there are significant issues with the tolerances of size. For a composite molded material, the measurements should be a lot more accurate. We ordered enough Weathered Oak decking and pro plas sub frame to create a 3.6mx3m decking area. The pro plas joists apparently 3000mm were up to 3100mm long so all required cutting, they were also not all square and straight. not advertised or mentioned in the literature is that they will deform in heat and cold temperatures. thus when putting on place they did not leave a true square frame. This was manageable with some adjustments. The decking boards are advertised as 200mm wide, some were just 195mm wide. Having built the frame to accommodate 15 200-mm boards with the recommended 4mm space and 2 pieces of edging plus 2mm recommended space we were left short by a significant amount. The customer service response to this was you should have called us, great if you're doing the project on a Monday to Friday
